Sylvie is our miracle baby. Our lone survivor and silver lining from a hard first whelping from her mama Casey (the birth itself wasn't taxing but all babies except Sylvie were born sleeping). From there she had several obstacles to overcome, the largest being "swimmer puppy" syndrome. This is common for litters of only one puppy as they often grow quickly due to no competition at the milk bar, combined with not having any siblings to climb over which strengthens their muscles. Ultimately just a few chiropractic appointments brought Sylvie from dragging her back legs to running and we marveled at her healing! Xrays from our doctors show that Sylvie's hips passed the PennHip rating with excellence and we love telling her special story. You'd never know that her first 6 weeks took some extra advocating! Sylvie had a big personality as a puppy which certainly helped her early on, and she has now settled into a calm temperament. She has had one litter and was a phenomenal mama to her crew, following her strong maternal instincts. Sylvie is out of Cello, a highly respected champion from Zinfndel.

Our Casey girl is the epitome of a perfect companion. Faithful, happy, gentle, trustworthy. She's the dog that you can leave your babies with and know they're safe, the dog that happily accompanies on car rides or simply hanging around the house. We are truly grateful to Gerardo and Joan Saldana for allowing us to bring Casey home in 2019. While Casey started out in the show ring her first year of life, she wasn't enthusiastic about that lifestyle and for her, family life is where it's at. We feel very blessed by the sound genetics and gorgeous temperaments that she possesses and has passed on to her beautiful babies, including our two other girls Sylvie and Fern. Casey will have one more litter in Spring 2024 before retiring and living the rest of her life with our family.

Fern is our Casey x Cello keeper girl - we loved what we saw in Sylvie and really wanted a clone. We got her and she completes our trio perfectly! Fern's super power is impulse control and it's been a joy to see how our added ENS and Puppy Culture training protocol as puppies has paid off in dividends. She's recently passed all of her health clearances with flying stars!

Small and Intentional is the heart of our breeding program
We greatly value having a small number of dogs as this allows our mama's to get the love and care that they deserve. Our sweet spot is three girls, sometimes four as we raise a puppy as a prospective bitch. You may notice that we don't have any males! Choosing artificial insemination allows us to look anywhere in the US for champion studs who will best compliment our females and improve each and every litter. We study conformation, genetics, health clearances and temperament before selecting a male for breeding.
