Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health and free of communicable diseases at the time of this sale, to the best of the seller’s knowledge and based on a veterinarian examination. By signing you fully agree to the terms and conditions below and confirm that your puppy is in excellent health upon date of obtaining it.

CARING FOR YOUR NEW FRIEND

Please bring your new puppy to the vet within 3 days of possession to verify the health of the puppy. 

By signing this contract you are committing to a sizeable responsibility of owning a large breed dog. Please understand that Hearthstone Labradors does not guarantee against any non-life threatening illnesses that we cannot test for and/or prevent such as allergies, undescended testicles, inverted vulva, urinary tract infection, vaccine reaction, fleas, parasites, overbites, underbites or temperament. Both the stud and bitch have been tested and proven to be in excellent health and we have upheld our commitment of doing all that we can to ensure that your puppy has a healthy start in life. (There are no guarantees for size, color shade, temperament, breeding, showing or hunting ability.) By signing you understand and accept the possibility that all living creatures are at a risk for illness or unexpected health problems. Buyer agrees to assume all care related costs for the puppy. We assume no financial responsibility after the puppy leaves our premise, including vet costs, vaccinations, diagnosis or treatments at any time during the life of the dog. 

HEALTH GUARANTEE 
Your puppy is guaranteed for life to be non-affected by the following: Centronuclear Myopathy, Degenerative Myelopathy, Exercise-Induced Collapse, Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis, Hyperuricosuria, Myotubular Myopathy 1, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration, Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (Labrador Retriever Type) and Hip or Elbow Dysplasia (any rating below borderline per the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals).

In the event that one of the previously listed genetic illnesses occurs within the first thirty-six months of life, we commit to guaranteeing your Hearthstone Labrador puppy under the following criteria:
A) Documentation of initial exam within three days following original purchase 
B) Dog must be cared for according to the conditions below
C) Current diagnosis signed and dated by your practicing veterinarian 
D) Dog and AKC papers must be returned to Hearthstone Labradors at owners expense
If all criteria has been met, upon our veterinarian’s confirmation of claimed condition, the replacement options will be: either a puppy of equal value when available, or a full refund of the purchase price of dog. No traveling, shipping or any vet expenses incurred by the purchaser of this dog will be refunded.

CARE
Please keep your Hearthstone dog well exercised and in good condition, not over or underweight. Please feed your puppy a quality, vet approved dog food - we recommend a Raw diet, Orijen or Next Level. 
The puppy must never sire or whelp a litter. 
Spay or Neuter your Hearthstone dog between 12-18 months of age.
